FAQs
How long do extensions last?
Great Lengths Cold Fusion extensions typically last between three and four months with the right homecare routine. We'll advise you at your appointment on how to get the most out of them.
How do I look after my extensions at home?
We'll give you full homecare advice after your appointment. Generally this includes using the right products, brushing gently from the ends up, and avoiding applying conditioner or oils directly to the bonds.
Will extensions damage my natural hair?
Cold Fusion extensions use no heat during application, which means the bonding process is much kinder to your natural hair than traditional methods. When applied and maintained correctly, they should have no impact on the health of your hair.
How long does the application take?
This depends on how many bonds are being applied. We'll give you a time estimate at your consultation once we know exactly what you need.
Are extensions suitable for fine or short hair?
Absolutely. Extensions aren't just for those with long hair looking to add length. Even a small number of bonds placed in the right areas can add volume and thickness to finer hair.
Can I use heat styling tools on my extensions?
Yes, Great Lengths extensions can be styled with heat tools. We'd recommend using a heat protector and keeping tools away from the bonds themselves.
