Colourist Creative Image Award
Produce a 10″ x 8″ portrait image of your choice, which focuses on colour.
This must be your own interpretation of what you believe makes an inspiring colour image.
Judges will consider the overall composition of the image while paying particular attention to the quality of the colour.

Stylist Creative Image Award
Produce a 10″ x 8″ portrait image of your choice, which focuses on cutting/styling.
This must be your own interpretation of what you believe makes an inspiring hair image.
Your look can be commercial or high-end fashion but NOT avant garde.
Photographs can be black and white or colour and the hair should be commercial, wearable and reflect current trends.
Judges will consider the overall composition of the image.

Avant Garde Creative Image Award
Produce a 10″ x 8″ portrait image of your choice, which shows an avant garde hairstyle.
This must be your own interpretation of what you believe makes an inspiring and innovative avant garde image.
Photographs may be black and white or colour.
Judges will consider the overall composition of the image.

Mens Creative Image Award
Produce a 10″ x 8″ portrait image of your choice, which focuses on male styling.
This must be your own interpretation of what you believe makes an inspiring mens image.
Photographs can be black and white or colour and the hair should be commercial, wearable and reflect current trends.
Judges will consider the overall composition of the image.

NVQ3 Students
NVQ3 students can enter any of the awards above.
They cannot enter the Trainee Creative Image Award.

Trainee Creative Image Award
Produce a 10″ x 8″ portrait image of your choice, which focuses on cut, colour and styling.
This must be your own interpretation of what you believe makes an inspiring hair image.
Photographs may be black and white or colour.
Judges will consider the overall composition of the image.
Points will be awarded for the final image.
All images must be submitted with a 10” x 8” photograph of your mood board.
Any entries that are not supported by a mood board will instantly be disqualified.
All trainees must produce an entry as this contributes towards their NVQ.

 
The deadline for all categories is Friday 2nd December at 5.30pm.
 

Rules
Entries must have been shot in 2016.
Any images that have been submitted previously for the seanhanna awards will not be accepted.
Entries must be portrait (please see the bottom of this page).
Entries must be exactly 10” x 8” in size (no smaller/no bigger).
Entries handed in after the deadline will not be accepted.
* Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate disqualification *

How To Enter
Fill in an entry form outlining which category you are entering – you must fill in a separate form for EACH category you enter.
Submit a 10” x 8” print of your entry image.
Label the back of the image with the entrant’s name, salon branch and category.
All entrants must provide a high res photograph of themselves – this can be emailed to susanc@seanhanna.com
